Greetings!​

The prompt for the 2023 Student Scholarship was, "How will you apply the 6th SFC National Conference's theme: 'In the Name of the Lord Almighty' in your future life and career?" And we would like to begin by extending a huge thank you to all who applied for the 2023 Student Scholarship. Thank you for your well written essays, but all the more, thank you for inviting us to read your testimony, for sharing your life's story, and helping us to see again in grander scale the ever-sovereign hand and providential care of our Lord Almighty whom we are all called to trust and follow.  

 

In addition, with so many well written essays it was a challenge narrowing the selection to our winners! Therefore, we respectfully disclose that all essays after being catalogued according to its respective region were assigned at least two evaluators – the evaluators would be of a different region from the said region to alleviate partiality – to evaluate and grade the allotted essays. The process and procedure though simple aimed to be impartial and proficient. It truly was a national effort across all the regions, and we are thankful for the opportunity to have served you all in this way.

 

Lastly, with the winners announced, we bring this important announcement: 1. The scholarship will be sent to the church to which the winning student or applicant belongs; 2. Checks will be made payable to winning student’s or applicant's name; and 3. Each church to which the winning student or applicant belongs will be contacted by the SFC National Director, Rev. Han Young Kwak, for verification and confirmation.
